Our last Stated Meeting was a prime example of Freemasonry at work!

 

With oil prices so high this year, we voted to help out those in need. We have earmarked $5000 for a program that the mayor of Westbrok is developing to help citizens of Westbrook that are in need of help with paying for oil. We hope that with our work with the mayor that this program takes off and helps all of those in need.

 

We also are helping out a member with paying for the costs involved with a funeral of a close friend.

 

It feels great to help out those that we can and this is what Freemasonry is all about...helping out those that are in need. Saccarappa Lodge will be doing more of this and getting more involved in the community of Westbrook starting in 2008! What a great time to be involved in this Lodge!
